What is Shizen’s commitment to your data?
Shizen is a performance management solution chosen by industry leaders in the automotive, luxury goods, food and pharmaceutical sectors, who attach great importance to data protection.
When it comes to data management, SaaS software is often at odds with fat clients. Thick clients are managed directly by the customer, not by the supplier. It’s been said that the fat-client facilitates data protection, as the customer is in control and reassured. But that doesn’t take into account the fact that the customer is not a software expert, and needs to be able to handle very different technologies.
With SaaS, it’s the people who know the software who are in charge of data protection. As well as costing less than a thick client/on premise, it’s guaranteed to be handled by the best people, with the best data protection technologies.
Shizen undertakes not to exploit its customers’ data; they are stored for their own use, the data are not sold, and are not exploited for any purpose other than the operation of the software.

All Shizen databases employ advanced encryption algorithms. Shizen also implements a Zero Trust policy, an intrusion-resistant system that allows users to access only the data they need.
Which hosting provider has chosen Shizen?
Shizen hosts its customers’ data in France, in one of OVH’s datacenters, one of the most secure in the world. All exchanges between clients and servers are encrypted using the TLS protocol.
OVH is a serious and renowned player in data hosting. OVH hosts 14 of the 40 companies listed on the CAC40, 35 of the 100 largest French e-commerce sites, and 28 of the 50 largest French IT companies.
OVH has received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for information system security management of OVH dedicated servers.
OVH’s private cloud security is also certified SOC 1 type II (SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402) and SOC 2 type II.
OVH is on track to become the 3rd company to be SecNumCloud qualified, a security benchmark for cloud players published by the French National Agency for IT Security (ANSSI).

Who has access to the data in the digital solution?
Those who have access to Shizen data are the solution’s users: our customers’ employees.
Of course, employees of one customer do not have access to the data of another.
In addition, customers can assign certain roles to users, giving them access to different rights. For example, they can decide that employees in one team cannot access data from another team.
Are there backups?
Every 24 hours, data is saved and stored for 30 days. So, should the need arise, Shizen’s teams are able to restore every customer’s data, from any point within the last 30 days.
